Pistol Pete, Windy City Blues Society’s “Chicago Blues Challenge” band winner – 2011, plays a
free show at Willowbrook Lanes (Bowl), Willowbrook, 8 p.m. Bowling, Dancing,
Blues & Brews.
Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials, Eddie Taylor, Jr., Joanna Connor – all at Buddy Guy’s
Legends, starting at 6 p.m. $25.
Jimmy Johnson (w/ Big Ray & Mike Wheeler) play B.L.U.E.S. on Halsted. $20/$25.
Guy King’s Little Big Band performs at Andy’s Jazz Club, starting at 9 p.m. $35
Linsey Alexander Band with Laretha Weathersby, Blue Chicago. $20
Anthony Moser Trio (WCBS Blues Challenge solo/duo finalist – 2011) plays Cab’s Wine Bar

starting at 9:30 p.m.
Dawn O’Keefe Williams and the Lucky Dogs perform at Salt Creek Wine Bar in Brookfield.

Sanctified Grumblers (Eric Noden & Rick Sherry) perform their old-time jug-band style blues
at Uncommon Ground’s Clark Street location. Dinner reservations begin at 5:30 p.m. Band
starts at 9:30 p.m. $50.
Sharon Lewis opens at 7:30 then there’s a New Year’s Eve Dance Party at 10 p.m. at Honky
Otis Clay performs at S.P.A.C.E. in Evanston at 10 p.m. $48 or call for reservations.

E. Faye Butler sings her jazz, pop, show tunes and blues at Northlight Theatre at North Shore

Wind Gypsys play FoxFire Restaurant in Geneva, starting at 8 p.m.
And for a jaunt over the pond… Blackjack’s Blues Band plays at Whistlebinkies in Edinburgh
(Scotland, that is) from 7 to 9 p.m. (. . . me fav’rite band to see when I’m out sailing
treasures on the North Sea)
