Announcing line-up for Chicago Blues Challenge “The Finals”

Round 4 is complete!…and the competitors have been determined for the Chicago Blues Challenge Final Round, to be held at Buddy Guy’s Legends on Sunday, November 15th, starting at 7:30. The line-Up will include the following:
Will Jacobs and Dirty Deal (Youth Band)
Matt Hendricks (Solo/Duo - Round 3 Winner)
Diamond Jim Greene (Solo/Duo - Wild Card)
Nigel Mack (Solo/Duo - Wild Card)
Toronzo Cannon (Band - Round 2 Winner)
Grana Louise (Band - Round 4 Winner)
Alex Wilson (Band - Round 1 Winner)
Linsey Alexander (Band - Wild Card)
Rockin’ Johnny (Band - Wild Card)
Chainsaw DuPont (Band - Wild Card)
Dave Herrero (Band - Wild Card)
One competitor from the Solo/Duo and one from the Band competition will represent Chicago at the IBC’s “International Blues Challenge” in Memphis in January, and the Youth Band will receive final judging to determine their attendance as well.

Don’t Miss this one- The Finals are here. This is the first ever time that Chicago will be represented in the International Blues Challenge, so please come out and support the Blues in Chicago!

Official announcement should be posted later today, but the winners as follows:
Grana Louise & the Troublemakers - Band
Matt Hendricks and Bill Curtis - Solo/Duo
Will Jacobs & Dirty Deal - Youth Band
Also note a fundraiser is set for Friday, January 8th at B.L.U.E.S. on Halsted where the winning band & solo/duo artists are scheduled to perform. Fundraiser will help them get to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge January 20th to 23rd.
