Chicago is home to the worlds largest free Blues Festival. Every June, blues fans travel from all points to attend the festival in beautiful Grant Park. And every year the Windy City Blues Society hosts the Chicago Bluesfest “Instant Friends” Party.
Want to have instant friends at the bluesfest? Become a member of the WCBS and meet us each day in center field. Look for the WCBS banner! June 12th-14th Grant Park, Center Field
A friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself. Jim Morrison
Want to meet your fellow Windy City Blues Society members? Looking for people to hang out with during the Chicago Blues Festival? Come to our “Instant Friends” party during the Chicago Blues Festival. During festival days, look for a flag with the WCBS logo at the Front Porch stage. We will also be in the lawn just behind the seating area at the Petrillo Music Shell. Look for either a flag bearing our logo or a skull and crossbones flag with red eyes. Many of our members
will be wearing Windy City Blues Society T-Shirts.
MAY 30 UPDATE. Charlie Musselwhite closes the FrontPorch stage on
FRIDAY. A contingent of us will be at the FrontPorch stage all day FRIDAY… After Charlies set is done (around 8:00p), we’ll move to center stage…
