Tonight's show will select one band, and a solo/duet to move on to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. These artists will represent Chicago in an International competition of over 200 musical acts from across the globe. We thank all the supporters of the Chicago Blues Challenge. The moneys raised tonight will benefit the cost of the musicians to travel to Memphis for the International Competition.

The International Blues Challenge represents the worldwide search for blues bands and solo/duo blues performers ready for the international stage, yet just needing that extra big break. The world’s largest gathering of blues musicians will take place on Beale Street, with over 20 clubs hosting the challengers and fans. In addition to featuring these final rounds of the prestigious blues music competition, the IBC event week will offer seminars, showcases, master classes, film screenings, networking events, book signings, and receptions for blues societies, fans, and professionals.
Wolf Records Recording artist, won the first round of the Chicago Blues Challenge in Willow Springs. Brenda is the daughter Of Eddie Taylor the blues legend. The Taylors are a great Chicago Blues music family.
Miles killed it at the first round and is invited back to compete in the finals.
Darren won the second round of the challenge in Bolingbrook. Darren has won the Chicago Blues Challenge in the past and represented Chicago at the International.
Win finished in a very close second place in Bolingbrook
Sean is an awesome talent. You need to hear this young man play his guitar.
Charlie technically finished in second in Bolingbrook. Lets put it like this, he lost the electoral college but won the popular vote.
Matt was the winner of round two in Bolingbrook. he got the most 1st place votes (which made him the winner) but a lower overall score. (barely). Matt & Bill have won the Chicago Blues Challenge in the past and represented Chicago in the International.
The winner of the Solo/Duet in round 1 in Willow Springs and received the overall highest score. This is a guy you gotta hear. He has it real bad, and that's Good !
